A HOUSE in Cheltenham was on fire in the early hours of this morning.
Fire fighters were called to a house fire in Hales Road, Cheltenham around 5.50am today.
Fire engines from Cheltenham East and Cheltenham West fire stations, together with 10 fire fighters and watch commander Lewis Povey were called to the incident.
They found a small fire, which was contained to one room in the house.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "On arrival crews found a small fire which had been contained to one room of the property and used one hosereel and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
"Crews were detained a total of 25 minutes at the scene."
