RESIDENTS in Winchcombe will be left without some specialist outpatient services after the health service decided to pull out of the village.
The decision was made at the last board meeting of NHS Gloucestershire at the end of last month.
Health bosses agreed to cease other outpatient services in the town, except for physiotherapy services.
NHS Gloucestershire had been providing outpatient services such as general medicine, gynaecology, paediatrics and urology for the last three years following the closure of Winchcombe Hospital.
The board agreed to further develop the physiotherapy department by expanding Winchcombe Medical Centre or securing an alternative site to base the services.
