CHELTENHAM-BASED corporate and B2B PR agency Camargue has been shortlisted for three categories of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations' (CIPR) South West PRide awards.

They are: Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy; Corporate and Business Communications Campaign; and Community Relations Campaign.

And Camargue's senior account manager, Simon Gill, has also been shortlisted for outstanding young communicator.

Suzanne Bennett, director in Camargue's Cheltenham office said: "We have an experienced team of over 40 employees at our Cheltenham office in Eagle Tower. In the last 12 months we've continued to invest in and grow the team as the business has expanded.

"Our campaigns have been critical in supporting our clients' commercial ambitions. They value our forward thinking approach. The net impact of this has been 25% growth."

The awards shortlisting range from the agency's national media engagement and political lobbying to support the British Constructional Steelwork Association's Rebuilding Britain campaign, to a community relations programme designed to support National Grid's T-pylon planning application."

CIPR president Sue Wolstenhome said: "This year's entries were all of an incredibly high standard."

Winners will be announced in Bristol on November 22.
