Pedal-powered music comes to the Prince Albert on Rodborough Hill when cyclists bring their folk sound up the slope on Saturday.

Musicians Tim Graham, Robin Grey and Kate Stone Lonergan love singing and cycling. Pedal Folk is their cunning attempt to combine the two.

This August the trio have been strapping their musical instruments to their bikes and cycling around Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

Along the way they have performed at a record store, retirement home, folk club and before saddling up or the trip to the Prince Albert.

Tim has been described as an "innovative and immaculate" guitar style which has been compared with Bert Jansch, Nic Jones and Martin Simpson.

Robin Grey colours in his songs about love and life with guitar, banjo, ukulele, piano, double bass, organ and any other instruments he can afford and fit into his little studio.

Katie Stone-Lonergan is a talented young musician fluent in both classical violin and the folk tunes of her native Ireland and has recorded with The Proclaimers.
