England 13 Ireland 10
England kept their Six Nations Championship title hopes alive with a thrilling win against previously unbeaten Ireland at Twickenham today.
Al three Gloucester players - Billy Twelvetrees, Jonny May and Ben Morgan - were on the pitch at the final whistle and played their part in a memorable win for Stuart Lancaster's side.
Number eight Morgan played the whole of the second half after going on as a replacement for Billy Vunipola who was forced to go off with an injury towards the end of the first half.
A high intensity opening 40 minutes produced just three points - and Owen Farrell penalty - but the game really opened up at the start of the second half as Ireland raced into a 10-3 lead.
Full-back Rob Kearney got the scoreboard moving for the Irish when he cut through the England defence to touch down under the posts and Jonny Sexton added the conversion.
Sexton stretched the lead with a penalty before Farrell slotted his second penalty to give England renewed hope.
And roared on by a passionate Twickenham crowd, England produced the moment of the match when outstanding full-back Mike Brown sliced through the Ireland defence before feeding scrum-half Danny Care for the try. Farrell slotted the conversion from in front of the posts.
There was still more than 20 minutes remaining but despite a few anxious moments England held on for the win which means they join Ireland, France and Wales on four points with two games remaining.
England - the only team who can still win the Triple Crown - entertain Wales in their next game before completing their campaign in Rome against Italy.
