THIEVES ripped lead from a roof and grabbed three new rolls as well.
They arrived at a farm just off the B4060 at Southend, near Wotton-under-Edge and removed lead from the roof of a farmhouse under renovation.
They also stole three rolls of lead nearby. The total value of items stolen is several hundred pounds. It was taken between midnight on Saturday, March 22 and 8am on Monday March 24.
