SHOPPERS who have spent a week without Waitrose are returning in droves to see what's changed.
The London Road supermarket has been refitted and modernised, complete with a new cafe, and a coffee bar.
New shelves and counters feature in a fresh layoyut, which has a central aisle cutting across all the others.
The work has been going on for several weeks and culminated last week when the shop was filled with construction workers, before store staff re-stocked shelves before it reopened at 8am on Saturday, April 5.
