CHELTENHAM-BASED business angel syndicate Angels4Angels has donated over £2,000 to the Gloucestershire arm of Fredericks Foundation.

The charity helps people wishing to set up, or expand, their own business, often when they are unable to get finance through the usual channels.

They provide a comprehensive range of business support and micro-loan funding for start-ups and small businesses.

Angels4Angels provides a free service to investors seeking high returns from backing early stage businesses.

Applying best practice from their own experience and published research, the directors John Caines and David Cribbin, not only charge no fees to investors but commit their own capital to each investment.

Mr Caines, pictured, said: "We are delighted to be supporting Fredericks Foundation – in addition to the clear benefits for the recipients the businesses backed are improving the UK's economy to the benefit of everyone in our society."
