I WELCOME the Cheltenham Half Marathon, no matter how much short-term disruption it causes. We can all manage for a day, given notice.
However, I live in St Pauls on Brunswick Street, on a one-way street with a "road closed" sign at the exiting end, and I received no leaflet through the door.
If leaflets were sent, more care needs to be taken not to miss out crucial streets like mine.
There should also have been a sign at the other end of our street, at its entrance, as we even had a taxi come down and have to reverse back out once he saw it was closed at the end.
Luckily, I already knew about the closure in advance, and we were only closed for a couple of hours as we were near the start of the route. Otherwise, bring it on.
