ROAD repair teams have pressed ahead with further makeovers for pothole-riddled roads in Barton.
Stratton Road is the latest road to be completely resurfaced following complaints of potholes from residents.
It comes just weeks after resurfacing of nearby roads such as Hopewell Street, Blenheim Road and Vauxhall Road.
Work on Stratton Road was completed on Friday.
City councillor Saj Patel (C, Barton and Tredworth) said: "I would like to thank Gloucestershire Highways for continuing to listen myself and the community, recognising the need for more highways improvements in the area, and responding in a positive way.
"I hope residents will be pleased. Rest assured, I will continue working with the community and the council on further improvements to Barton and Tredworth."
The works were carried out by a team from Gloucestershire Highways.
County councillor Vernon Smith, cabinet member for highways and flood, said: "The work that the highways team have done on Stratton Road shows how we're continuing to focus on fixing the worst damage and will significantly improve a well-used road.
"We're extremely grateful for the patience the residents have shown us whilst we carried out the improvements and are hopeful that the benefits will far outweigh the inconvenience that was caused."
