BILLY Burns is back for Hartpury as they look to cement their place at the top of National Two South. They take on Redruth aiming to maintain their 100 per cent home record this season. Burns has been on England Under-20 duty for the past couple of months alongside back row Ross Moriarty and second row Jonny Hill. Director of rugby Alan Martinovic has not decided on what role Moriarty and Hill will play against the Cornishmen but he has confirmed that fly-half Burns will start. "The experience of playing for England's Under-20s and having two or three games for Gloucester has been good for him," said Martinovic. "He's got the makings of being a very good fly-half. "One of the things about his position is that you've got to play in the right areas and make the right decisions at the right time and that comes with experience. "That side of his game is improving all the time and the great thing about him is that he came through the system at Hartpury and is very committed to being part of a successful side. "He's a very good distributor, a very good communicator, has a decent kicking game and his goalkicking is improving. "He works very hard and I'm sure he'll have a great future at the top level of the game." The game at Redruth earlier this season was one of only five defeats for Hartpury in the current campaign and Martinovic wants a victory before preparing for the biggest weekend of the team's season the following week. On Friday evening they play Leeds Met in the BUCS final at Twickenham and the following day they travel to Canterbury to play their closest rivals for the league title. Martinovic said: "It's difficult but we've got some very good playing resources. It will stretch us but we've got to make sure that we put out two competitive teams. It's not just an issue for us, other teams such as Loughborough and Cardiff Met are in the same position as us." Hartpury booked their place in the final of the BUCS Cup with a 31-14 win over Loughborough University.
